Irish Built Manhattan Cocktail

Picked up a Powers Irish Whiskey set that's for making the above. Box has whiskey, vermouth, and a jar of cherries. Not a bad deal for $30 and it's very good.

Ingredients
• 2 ounces Powers Irish Rye Whiskey
• 1 ounce Hotel Starlino vermouth
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• Garnish: Hotel Starlino Maraschino Cherries

Steps
• Add the rye whiskey, vermouth, and bitters into a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled.
• Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
• Garnish with skewered cherries.

I do not have a coupe glass, so went for a rocks, which I know is not proper but gotta work with what you have.

Get some coupes! They make it so much more elegant! A friend of mine freezes his cherries for Manhattans (stop giggling!)
