Interesting Grill

I like this unit a fair bit....
Now of course, no first hand experience....it looks like it does most of the jobs pretty good.....the griddle looks great, taking it on and off and having it be dirty could possibly be a chore. Looks like it grills as good as any other propane bbq.......the smoking part of it all could maybe be the part that would come at a bit less than one might expect......just basing that off of the videos and the comments there.

With the exchange the value for a US customer seems to make the price point look pretty good....shipping is free up here over the border, not sure south of the border. which is also nice.....the video shows it arriving all pre assembled too.

Sorry, boys & girls, but I just looked at the Black Earth website and found this:

I don't know how your budget works in your world, but $3K is not a great price point in my world. Looking at the features, yes, it really has a lot of nice ones. The daggone griddle, at a buck 'n a half, is actually pretty reasonable though.

I am not saying that $3K isn't a fair price for this unit. Just saying that it's not a "great price point."

But then, I still think that the WKS Performer is out of my price range at $2K.

But, for those of you that have the disposable income and the desire, I say, jump in with both feet ! ! !

For those interested in $3K grills this ones stacks up well against ones like the Weber Summit
