I was trolling around Target yesterday and came across these stacking cooling racks:

Commercial Weight Bakeware (well, that's a bit of a stretch)
Stackable Cooling Racks (3 per pack)
13 3/4" X 9 3/4" - $7.99 in the store and on their website:
The website says 1/2" high (that's folded) - Open, they're 3" high.
They come in a dark red cardboard & cellophane 3-pack.

The rack's feet fit perfectly between the rungs of the upper and lower WSM grates to keep it from sliding sideways.

One rack (3" high) fits easily on the lower WSM grate, leaving 4 3/4 inches of space between it and the upper WSM grate. A second cooling rack on top of the first clears the underside of the upper WSM grate by 2 inches. With a little clever crimping of the legs, the second one might fit on top of the first and still give enough clearance for a slab of ribs. However, the cooling racks are a little flimsy, so might not take kindly to the crimping.

Two cooling racks on top of the WSM's upper rack won't fit because of the curvature of the lid. Also, the food on the WSM grates would have to be carefully placed because of the 2 crossbars between the legs of the cooling racks.

Has anyone tried this type of arrangement before?
