Injecting Butts?

Are any of you doing much injecting on your butts? I've been seeing some of the BBQ shows where some competition teams are doing tons of injecting. If so what is a good recipe and technique? What are the pro's and con's? I've got a couple of butts that the Guru is tending to, on tonight.

Hey Nate,
Chris just helped me out here. click the find button, look for "pork butt injection" I think you will be happy. It did help the flavor of the butts.

Nate,
I have injected a few butts and they turned out great. I just used "Stubbs Pork Marinade". You need to run it through a strainer or the bits and pieces of spice will clog your needle. It is funny when you inject the butts, because they actually swell up. In my experience injecting has created very moist and flavorful butts. Good luck.
