My brother in law and sister run this organization in what is perhaps one of the if not the most blighted neighborhood in Chicago (Englewood). https://shepherdshopechicago.org/ We support them as much as we can. The amount of good works my brother in law Brian Anderson does is nothing short of amazing. They began with a little yellow bungalow on S Lowe Ave. The needs are so great and have grown to such an extent he bought a CPS Grade School and they hold vocational training in house, bible studies, church services, a feeding center, a food pantry, counseling and so many more things I don't know how he does it. He is partially paralyzed on one side from a severe stroke and then a heart attack yet every day he's down there doing good driving in all the way from Grays Lake. A totally amazing guy! Check it out
