Just picked up a Summit D6 SS NG at an estate sale and looking for the original Smoke box that came with the gril The Weber PN# is 41813, (item #6 on the schematic) but weber wants $400 plus for what amounts to a SS box that sits on a dedicated smoker burner. Anyone have one they're not using or want to repurpose? PM is you have one sitting around collecting dust!

The smoker box works pretty well. But requires the burner to be long. Will not fit perfectly on the 310 spirit

I've been scouring the web for suitable replacements, but they are either unavailable or excessivly priced!

Weber says any 16 longx4" tallx2"wide should work. My exact measurements for the space in my cook box are 161/4" x 4" tall x 2 1/8" wide.

17.5 inches long on top, 18 with tabs on bottom. 3.5 inches wide. 3 inches tall. Believe it is best for a east-west burner.

I was cleaning and reorganizing my grill shop and came across a smoker box I have been saving. It is identical to the one Tony posted. I know mine came from a 3rd generation Summit. What you are looking for is the the one for a second generation Summit. Similar appearance but not the same size.

I will give you that when I can get home and measure. It is made for the current (3rd generation) Summit.
