Impressed with first cook on WSM 18.5"

After doing some reading I decided to not season my new WSM and instead just keep a close eye on the temps.

I purchased a nice 8lb pork butt and used the Mr. Brown recipe and the sopp. Temps were easy to maintain and I am extremely happy with the results. Nice bark and just the right amount of smokiness.

Tomorrow I am going to cook a 14lb turkey. I've done a bunch of turkey's in my kettle and am anxious to see how it goes with the WSM. Like everything I've ever owned made by Weber, I am impressed with the WSM.
