I would like to apend a year on the Yucatán Peninsula eating great food and cave diving.

Have you been?

I snorkeled a Cenote - it was one of the most amazing experiences I've had in the water!

Probably Australia. Or a South Pacific island

I had to think about this for a while, but I think I'd consider sailing in the 1000 island area of Croatia and Greece. I'd want a sail boat nice enough to be comfortable, but not so fancy that I'd worry about getting pirated.
