Identifying grills without serial number and quick hose queation

This SN is faded but I was wondering if anyone knew approximately what year this Genesis 1000 is from. Or better yet, if anyone knows the model that would be great and I’m trying to find the owner's manual.

Also, I know I will need to replace this tank connector and hose. Is this old tank something that I can just bring to anyplace that exchanges empty for full tanks and exchange for one of the newer tanks once I have the new hose? The new hose looks pretty inexpensive on amazon so figure the upgrade is worth it.

I would say that is a late 1990's Genesis 1100.
Here is a 1998 manual that seems to match your grill.
