I think Weber messed up with the Smokefire


 
I like that the burn chamber is a good distance from the auger, I think that's the number 1 reason I went with the SF. The only problem I see with the SF and it's no limited to the SF is that the grease will pool up at the bottom and this is directly a result of ash comingling with the drippings. This is an age old problem with all types of BBQ (IMHO) and the same solution that works for one, works for all. Line the bottom with aluminium foil and remove and replace as needed. Short of that, I'm having a hard time finding fault with this BBQ. Pellets are not for everyone, and it wont be my exclusive BBQ, but it's going to get the lion's share of cooks
