I think I just found BBQ Meats Heaven

Hi All,

And it's only 25 miles from my house! After doing a successful pork butt on my 22.5 WSM I feel brave enough to try a brisket for the first time this labor day weekend.

I started doing research on the cook to day and realized that, as with most beef, the quality is much more important than say for pork. This is when I Googled Angus brisket purveyors in my area and found this article:

The company is in Tampa, so it's a 25 minute drive for me and best of all, it seems they sell to individuals. If so, I will put my order in tomorrow for a Meyer's Prime Angus Brisket :). Here's their site:

Best,

Thanks for the link Jose, just under 1 1/2 hour ride for me. post back if they take your individual order and how they price it

Im interested in this as well. Im just starting to play with my 22.5 OTG and the weather will be getting cooler soon so I think I'll be outside grilling an drinking more.

This place is just down the road from my job and on my way home!

I buy all my comp meats wholesale. Hope they sell individually to you but don't be surprised if they require you buy a case of 5 briskets. Around here that is generally what is in a case. Some of the real big ones we get they can only get 4 in a case. Freeze the ones you won't cook within a few days.
