Picked up this roached out 1000 today. Frame is rusted out where fire box bolts to the frame and on one side of the fire box gas deteriorated at one of the mounting bolts. All the flavor bars seem to be in good shape as well as the grates. Burners are burned through. Don't know if it's worth restoring. Got it for free, so that's a plus. So, that makes 3 free webers since last Tuesday. Does this justify that I have a problem???:cool:

 
Need to see some pictures of the damage and do you intend to flip it. If you want to keep flipping these this might be a great parts source.
 
I was actually looking for another kettle but came upon two gasses instead. I figure this is a good candidate to do a frame mod to fit my kettle. Especially since the top section of the frame needs rust repairs.
