those burgers were >3/4# each! Monsters - I'd have made 8-9 patties out of that I bet. I joked with my brother that they looked like mini-meatloaves when I first saw the video.


I cooked up some wings using 1 pepper - I liked it, good flavor, no fear. Not bad for the first time with them.

The topic of hot chiles came up at dinner tonight and I did a little digging while waiting for the food to arrive. The Naga Jolokia has been dethroned twice over as hottest pepper. The Carolina Reaper is currently listed by Guinness as the world's hottest pepper, but there's another that's claimed to be 900,000 Scoville units hotter than the Carolina Reaper. The lowly habanero is positively mild in comparison.
