The hot dog roller does work - but it slows the cooking down some. We've joking: now I can make 7-11 dogs: roll 'em for a day, refrigerate, repeat to achieve desired consistency. I could see using it more with the grand kids.

The Konro is an older(?) one: ceramic interior, insulation (that is slowly sifting out), all in a big can. I'll take & post some pics next time I use her.
