I got a digi cue a few weeks ago and I was disappointed in the 10cfm blower.
I installed the equipment as directed by Digi Q and the 1000's of user on u tube.
I could never get my WSM above 250. I like hot and fast and im really disappointed.
I tried numerous tips to get my cooker hotter.
Temps out side were 74 one day and 88 the next time. Im frustrated.
 
Hmmm....

Water in the pan? Hopefully no.

Minion start? Hopefully no.

Start with one fully lit chimney? Hopefully yes.

I usually don't depend on my ATC for high temp cooks. I try to start with as much lit as possible and hope that the temps are not too high.
 
What size WSM?
Vent positions top and bottom?
What fuel?

We neeeed ALL the details to properly diagnose the situation.

I can get 350 on my 18.5 wsm using the 4cfm fan..takes a bit of time but it gets there no problem for HH brisket.

I never have a problem with my 18.5 using the 10cfm. Takes a little time to get it to temp but it gets there and keeps temps consistent.
 
Also make sure the little slide valve thing on the fan is wide open. If you're choking it down obviously it's harder to get things hot.
