For the first time in just over 25 years, I'm no longer haz-mat certified.
I no longer drive a commercial vehicle, and the trucks they DO have me drive from time to time aren't CDL trucks (GVRW 26,000 pounds)
I will be keeping my CDL just in case and I'm pretty sure that I can get the company to spring for my CDL physical this summer
Since I'm not renewing it, I'll save the $25 that the endorsement would have cost PLUS the $85 for the background check
Retirement in 4 years can't come soon enough!!

Congrats Phil. It's gotta feel nice when you can see the finish line and start scaling back. I got at least 10 to 15 years left.
