After a couple decades of smoking on Weber kettles and refrigerator conversions I've bought my first 18.5 WSM. Got a great deal on Craigslist saving about $150 over new:cool:. I bought a nomex gasket kit for it off of bbqgaskets.com since it seemed like the door is kind of loose fitting.

Looking forward to my first BBQ on it this weekend with some Beef Back ribs.

Appreciate the welcomes ya'll. I'll try to get a picture of one my many batches of smoked salmon I do in a full size refrigerator I converted to a smoker years ago. It's no WSM but I can easily do 30 lb's of Salmon candy at a time!:cool:

Would love to see pics of that and taste it too. Welcome to the forum. According to my sister, you live in a beautiful and wonderful place. Congrats on the great deal on the WSM.
 
Another Northwesterner, awesome. Welcome to the forum! Looks like the NW is in for some beautiful smoking and bbq'ing weather the next 7 days.
