I have a Genesis E-310 gas grill, about 3.5 years old. For the past six weeks or so the electronic ignition has been a problem. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. My first reaction was to change the battery but the same pattern continued. I cleaned the contacts in the battery holder and still the same results. I may be slow but I figure it's time to change the electronic ignition. I can pick up a new one at the local Home Depot for about $30. Not a big deal. But my concern is how easy/difficult will this be to replace? From what I'm looking at it's going to require some serious breaking down of the grill. Am I correct? Never having done this previously I'm a bit apprehensive.
