It only takes 30 posts to go from new member to member, fwiw. If it took someone five years to do this, they were probably not regulars.

Is the question on Threads vs Posts? A Thread would be a new discussion that we initiate compared with a Post (or reply) like I just now did here. I would say User Titles have to be based on posts, or replies; I have not initiated nearly enough threads to have earned my current Title.
