How long do Fatties take?

I'm planning on a brisket @ 250 top vent temp. Never did fatties before but they look great (I just won't tell my cardiologist).
 
The "Cooking Topics" section under "Other Meats" "Fatties, Hot Dogs, Luncheon Meats & More" says "Cook in the WSM at 225-250° for 3-4 hours, or 300-350° for 1-1/2 to 2 hours. There's no need to turn or baste the sausage."

One obvious word of caution. Make sure the size and shape of your fatty is equal to the ones being discussed at those temperatures in Cooking Topics.
