Cut the bottom out of a stainless steel bowl to make myself a vortex, but it was still too large for my liking, so I cut it up some more and popped in a few rivets to shrink the diameter...made wings a few times and they came extra crispy. Very pleased.

Yes. Very happy S6 owner.

I also made myself a SnS clone setup too...I love cooking so many different ways that I use them all...sometimes the food I cook dictates how I cook it (vortex, SnS, kamado style, smoking etc), and other times I want to try something so the cooking toys dictates what we eat.

My favorite thing about the S6 is the hybrid kamado/kettle cooking...it just does it ALL!
