Home made charcoal ideas.....

Hello was wondering if anyone has any ideas for how to make to make home made lunp charcaol? My first thought is to just make some sort of oven out of cinder blocks I think it will need to be covered as to smother out the coal after the burn. Any thoughts out there? Any ideas appreciated. Thanks

Any kind of container that restricts the amount of oxygen that can get to the wood would work.
