Holiday cooks

oh well - holiday season has finished and I'm back in the office.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas and the New year has started well??

Was a busy chap on the Performer this year - Turkey on Christmas Day (this one taken quite early in the cook - it coloured up a lot more and tasted great)



some ugly mug basting the bird...


Then we splashed on a couple of 2 inch thick porterhouses on the 26th - done 'Bistecca Fiorentina' style

they certainly were - we got three, each just over 2 inches thick...
used two on the 26th - have a third in the freezer for 'emergencies'
