I hate being such a PITA but I need some help again. I know this problem is brought on by my own modifications to Bryan's design.
In my hopes of creating a waterproof HM, I put everything in a different case. I took the standard probe wires, cut them, and soldered them to a cable which goes through a Cannon plug. This was to create a waterproof connection to the probes and to add length to the probes for my pit.
When I power up, probe 2 works but that's it. If I play around, probe 3 works and 2 drops out. Probe 1 has never worked. I have 3.3V on all wires. I have continuity between all shields of the probes and nothing seems wrong, even though there obviously is.
I have played around with how far I insert the plugs into the probe connectors on the HM board and that made no difference. I am at a loss.
Thanks,
Ryan
