New group member. Rick Carlson here. Retired Air Force and retired AT&T Instructor. Take wife and tall teardrop camper all over the US and Canada discovering new places, revisiting old ones, fishing, exploring, etc. Love cooking outside both at home and when camping. Have run the gamut as far as different grills over the years. Have had a big Weber Genesis for a long time at home. Used all kinds of set ups on the road over the years (Weber Q, Small Blackstone, ASMOKE Portable Pellet Grill, etc) but found I missed real charcoal and wood BBQ taste I remember as a kid. So now use the Weber Go Anywhere on the road camping. Love the portability, lightweight and quality. Recently got an 18" Weber Smoky Mountain which I used both grilling and smoking. Rarely use my Genesis anymore unless it's for a big get together.
