Hi all,

At the very moment I finished the 14th hour of smoking my 12lbs of pork butt... this trememdous storm just exploded above my house. My whole yard flooded, gutters over flowed and I was waiting for lighting to come zap me in my house. In the end.. all of the rain (it was alot!) must of splashed all over my fire and ashes blew all around the smoker..

My two hunks of pork are covered in gray now. What can I do?? I have to cook for a bit longer.. can I rinse them with Sop? I'm at a loss and very concerned.. Thanks!!!

About 15 minutes ago I was on weather.com looking at the radar and it was all RED in your area. I was planning on doing a shoulder tomorrow and into Sunday, it looks like I better move the WSM under the deck.

yep, nothing but storms now
