Judging from the ratio of handle and vent size to diameter, I'd say it looks like an 18. I'm by no means an expert, though.

I agree with Matt, looks like an 18.5".

Its working for me now. Seems by the top vent position and the lid it is an 18.5" Nice little grill though. Looks to be in good shape.

pat, i found it in nashville, my friends picked it up today... it is red.... and a 1998 model

Red? Sure doesn't look red but maybe the lighting is off.
