Help! Do I need to add more hot briquettes?

I started the WSM using the Minion method for my eight slabs of baby backs. One hour and ten minutes after starting the cooker temp is 186 and still slowly rising. I've read somewhere that with Minion you should be at 225 at least by one hour. Should I add some more hot briquettes?
 
This happened to me yesteray during a cook of country style ribs. I could'nt get the cooker to go above 205 the whole cook. All vents were wide open to. I did take the door off for a couple minutes. But it only made a small difference. I'm sure If I would have left it off a little bit longer it would have climbed. But I just figured I'd cook a bit lower and said screw it.
