Help! BRITU Ribs over rubbed.

I think I over applied the BRITU rub. I was reading "the original text" and gave it what I thought was a good overall dusting (I used the entire rub from the 1/4 batch on 8.4 lbs of ribs). Then I started reading to get tips on the cook and noticed a heavy emphasis on less salt. Should I just go with it, Rinse them, or scrape them? Any suggestions?
 
I am planning to use a sweet sauce so I will probably encourage as much rub off on the way to the grill and then sauce the heck out of them.
 
instead of drowning them in sauce, you culled mop, or spray the ribs during cooking with some apple juice, this will wash off some of the rub.
