Just wanted to say hello. I have not purchased my WSM as of yet but after finding this site I decided that will be the smoker I go with. After spending a few days reading this site, I think this first time smoker will have a hard time screwing up with all of the great info here and the ease of use of the WSM.

Anyway, thanks and I look forward to asking many, many stupid questions in the future.

Hello, Jason. I read this forum for a while before I decided on a WSM or an offset. I have an old Brinkman offset, but I wanted soemthing new.

Everyone made the WSM seem goof proof. It pretty much is. I love mine. You won't be sorry if you buy one.
