I own a few webers but my favorite is my 2001 Silver B. My grandma got it new when she bought her car in 2001. It sat in her garage for the next 20 years until she gave it to me. The grill is only a year younger than me!

I have a precious few things from my grandparents - cuff links, model train stuff, a medium format film camera, a cutting board, and a little cast iron dutch oven featuring an American eagle on the lid.

It sounds like that grill is virtually new and I would suggest you think about trying to keep it for another couple of decades. Spare parts are still readily available but won't be for too many more years.

Devyn -- you should have grandma register that grill on Weber's website. A 2001 Silver B should have a lifetime warranty on the aluminum castings (i.e. cookbox) and 25 year warranty on the porcelain -- for the original owner.

Given the light use, you may not need anything to be replaced. But you should check to make sure.

I got a brand new cookbox for my 2000 Silver B a year ago -- the old one had started to warp after decades of high use. Crazy!

Welcome.
