Hello everyone! Long time gas griller here, recently started to try charcoal and found this forum looking for tips on using my new 22" premium kettle grill.

Welcome to TVWBB, fellow New Englander! I'm sure you'll find this to be one of the most friendly and helpful BBQ/grilling forums out there. Whenever I'm driving through Lowell on Route 3, I often take a brief detour on Exit 31 and stop by The Alpine Butcher. Love that place.
 
Welcome to the forum. I'm in the same boat as you. Long time weber gasser but recently converted to charcoal. I can tell you to stock up on charcoal. Last night it was still on sale at lowes. If you buy it at the right times its about half price. Definitely worth storing several bags.
