Hi,, Tim here.

I have been looking for a site like this for a bit. I've been bitten by the old Weber bug and currently cook on a Spirit special edition that I picked up in like new condition (except for cleaning) for 60 dollars. My current project is a 1992 Three burner with a side burner also with a copper color lid. I look forward to being here and getting ideas from all of you.

Thanks Bob and Colin! Been working on the new unit all day. Reading the Owner's manual I believe it's called a Genesis 3 LP Gas Barbecue. The lid is an orange color but when I removed one of the end pieces and below that edge the top is black. Is that normal on the various color lids? This unit is in pretty rough shape however a donor unit came my way before I knew about the current project or that the donor was gonna be a donor. Hopefully I will be able to post pictures once a figure out how.
