Hey everyone! I've been grilling and smoking over the past 15 years and went through a lot of trial and error. Just recently put an order in for a WSM 22" but have to wait a month or two to receive it! Finally joining some forums to see what everyone else is doing and see if there's any other tips and techniques out there I can learn from and also help others learn from my mistakes!

Welcome Chad, I'm new here as well but have been smoking on my 22" WSM for about 8 years or so. Stay plugged into the forum, I think you'll get lots of good advice. Lots of good bbq and inspiration down in TX. I'd like to visit Austin & Lockhart again someday but not sure when/if it will happen. You'll find that the WSM is a very versatile cooker. There are tons of mods available and most of them are fairly inexpensive. You can even grill steaks or burgers on them in a pinch if you don't have another grill.
