HeaterMeter Help

Hello. I have been reading and following the posts on the HeaterMeter for approximately 6 month and have finally got up the nerve to post. First, its amazing the time and effort everyone has spent on this project. Second, I would really like to use the HeaterMeter on an electric smoker and I'm not sure how to go about this even after reading all the posts. Is there anyone that would be willing to build and sell me a v4.2.4 for an electric smoker? In the past this would have been a project I worked with my dad on since he dealt with electronics and electrical. But he has past away and I have been told by family that I'm one of those rare people that could find a way to electrocute myself flipping a light switch.

You basically want to use an SSR ( Solid State Relay ) that will control your electric heating element.

At the bottom of the first post, there is a list of people who are willing to do builds for other people. You should be able to email one of these guys and get what you're looking for.
