Of the Real Weber 14.5 WSM and their home-built mini WSM?

I did a few smokes on my mini before I got the 14.5. Here is what I noticed. The mini leaves the meat with a creosote like taste. It wasn't as bad if you let the mini burn for a while before putting the meat on. The mini will also run a lot longer on a bowl of charcoal. I think the mini holds more fuel than the 14.5 WSM.

I've got both. The WSM 14.5 is better in my opinion. Holds temps betters
