Quiet day here and will likely be snoring before the local fireworks show starts, We have a great view from the front porch, but I seldom make it
Will be having our celebratory meal tomorrow. Spinning a couple of 5 1/2# yardbirds and smoking an 8 1/2 # pork butt. Miriam put together some Cowboy Caviar and an English Trifle for dessert. I'll be putting together a macaroni salad and a small batch of slaw for pulled pork sammiches. Also made a small batch of Sweet Carolina Gold and a Chicago style red sauce. Eldest daughter and her husband will be here. They just got back from a vacation in the Carolinas and sang high praises for the BBQ they ate. Hopefully, I can compete.
