Ow Happy Day. While taking a quick look at the Wall-mart meat section found brisket at $1.28 & butts at $1.22.

I am lucky to find a brisket at all unless it is a corned beef brisket. Butts here are $1.04 lb.

Oh why do you tease us yankees like that...on sale brisket is $4 a pound.

It has to be a regional thing. Brisket is dirt cheap in Oklahoma. Packer trim $.99lb. and butts, when you can find them, can be $1.50lb. on sale. I haven't seen butts at our Sam's, but I've never asked the butcher. I saw in another post that Sam's doesn't put them out, but cuts them for country ribs. Next time I'm there I will ask.
