Hamburger Patty Maker

Can anyone suggest a good hamburger patty maker? I have seen the odd cheap one around stores in my area but they are few & far between & don't look as if they would last long.


I'm looking to try to "blend" different meats with beef & make up some different burgers [turkey / beef?]

Hi Glenn,
the only way I am accustomed to making patties is to weigh out equal amounts meat then add in seasonings and hand form the patties myself. I have seen patty forms at Bed Bath & Beyond stores (not sure if they have those in Canada) but Im sure you could locate a bunch of them online.

I am also in the markey for a meat grinder. Will the manual ones work ok or is an electric preffered?

both the patty maker and grinder depend on how much you are going to make. seen folks do a good amount with the manual grinder.

I'll second the hands. Even with my touch of arthritis,making a couple dozen burgers is pretty quick and easy,and there is nothing to clean but my hands!
