Guru Owners - Suggested settings?

Hello Guru Owners...

I just recieved my CyberQ wifi and wonder what you use for some of the settings that work best with the WSM.

1. Alarm on? Probably wouldn't be outside to hear it anyway

2. Ramp mode (cook and hold)

3. Open lid detect

4. Cycle time

5. Proportional band

Just curious what you think works best so I can start there..

KIS - Keep it simple.

1. On - helps, just in case.
2. Unless you are know how to use it, I'd skip it in the beginning. Ramp mode serves two things, one is to start the temperatures a little high to get temperature of meat started, the other is for the CyberQ to lower the temperature of the fire near the end of the cook so that the meat can be held in the cooker and not overcook.
3. On - keeps from ashes flying around when you open the lid. Try to best avoid this anyway.
