Grill parts for Genesis 3

Is this grill a good “parts/backup” for a Genesis 3? Going to check it out tomorrow. Looks similar, but slightly different to one I have. Thanks

It is a a nice Weber grill, but it lacks compatibility with regard to the burners, control panel and flavorizer bars with the much older Genesis 3. Frame and tables are different, too.

Could you also post pictures of your Genesis 3?

That looks like a 2002 to 2004 Genesis gold C.

That’s a great older Genesis. So what I said about the Gold you posted earlier is true in that there are a fair number of parts that will not interchange.

Parts that do not interchange include
Cookbox, burners, flav bars, manifold, control panel, burner knobs.

Cart/frame are mostly different.

some frame parts on the left side from early Silver B grills will work on a 1000.

I would think that the side burner complete assembly would fit but perhaps you would need to rework the connection
