Grill brush recommendations?

My Weber steel bristle brush that I use only on steel grates (not cast iron) has pretty much had it and I’d like to get a non-bristle brush, to just avoid the possibility of bristles in food.

I don’t mind spending the extra $ as long as it’s quality.

Recommendations?

I use tinfoil balled up for general "brushing" of the overall grates, and for tough spots and a good scrape of spot areas, I use this...

Used wire of various types for years until small pieces of wire showed up one time with company at the house, total panic on my part at that point. I only use Grillbadger now and don't have to worry about any kind of metal any more. When it's used on a hot grill it will clean grates nicely as well as get seasoned and not burn away.

YEah had wires in our food ONCE. Never bought cheap brush again. Stick with Libman, never an issue. Been using them for many years with no trouble

I tried the wood paddle scrapers...they were mold/mildew magnets and didn't really do a decent job for me. The nylon or PVC bristle brushes are ok but it takes some initial discipline not too use them on a hot grill.
I settled on this one:. Grill Brush Bristle Free | Best BBQ Non Wire Grill Brush and Scraper | 18" Stainless Steel Safe Accessories Cleaner for Weber Gas/Charcoal Porcelain/Ceramic/Iron/Steel Grates. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TTLRQQB/?tag=tvwb-20

It's ok.

I tried the paddle things too, same result. Never conformed to the grate shape, just got funky. I might cut them down to an arc and sand them a little thinner and use them for kettle scrapers, my old one is getting pretty worn.

Pretty resounding endorsement.
Well certainly better than the wood paddle things. I think people convince themselves that those work. The coil "brushes ", while certainly safer than bristles, don't get in and under the grates like bristle brush can. But overall, does a decent job along with the notched scraper.
It ticked a few boxes for me: stainless, heavy duty, reasonably priced...
I think I paid under $20 for a pair.
That's a review!

I got the Weber one - I think it's a new item last year? - and yes, is not conforming to the grates even with me making sure I line them up. Maybe I'll try taking my Dremel and see if I can make the grooves more pronounced.

Would not recommend unless you need to swat away hungry kids and/or dogs.
