Greetings, happy I found this site. I've previously been using (and still use) a Weber Genesis E-330.
I recently got the itch to do some real smoking, found this site and boom my Weber 22.5 arrived today via Home Depot - best thing is I received 10% off since it was my first purchase with a HD credit card (pay it off and close account).
I've learned quite a bit from the site so far but have a ton of questions prior to my first cook. To date I've been able to order (still waiting to arrive)
Pimento Wood and Leaves for Jerk Chicken from Pimentowood.com
Peach, Cherry, Apple and Sugar Maple wood from Fruitawoods.com
new door from The Cajun Bandit
Stubbs Natural Briquettes (Made in USA)
Royal Oaks Lump Wood (not sure whether to use Stubbs or the lump - figured I would play with both)
and a few accessories for the smoker (maverick thermometer, ash shovel, etc..)
Now I just need the weather to break so I can put her together/make something good and some time to try a few recipes and rubs via the site...
Here's to hoping when I actually go to set up I don't realize I have no clue (proper way to set charcoal, wood, etc) of what I'm doing..
