Hey everyone, I have to say, this Weber world is quite amazing, as little as one yr ago I didn't own a single one.Never had, never really thought about it. I just figured like everything else, your just paying for the name, overrated.....well after watching quite a few bbq shows on youtube, namely "BBQ Pit boys" , "Man Cave Meals", "Ballistic BBQ", it got me thinking there must be something special about these grills,so I decided to give it a try and I hit CL. After searching for a little while, It took longer than usual because I was searching for a performer,I finally found a Platinum, thought it was a performer, but got it anyways. Cleaned it up, and started using it, wow, what amazing food this thing produces...and that's when it started, I was hooked. I had gotten the fever, because as many of you know, you just can't own one Weber. Well now I have collected an 08 Genny S320, 99 Red Master touch kettle, 2000 Black SS Performer, Q100 portable gasser, and just a couple days ago, a wooden handled 18.5 WSM, never been used for 45 bucks, I'm pumped over this one. My wife thinks I've lost my mind, maybe I have, I don't know, but I do know, I love my Webers and will never go back!! I had a Chargriller trio in before all this Weber thing got started but ended up selling it and getting an Akorn for the Kamado experience, a great grill but not Weber quality by any means, and now that I've found my WSM, I may end up selling it to recoup some of my Weber funds. I'm doing my first cook as a write on my WSM, so we will see how it goes. Well, I guess I've rambled enough...nice to meet everyone!:D
