I've had a 22.5 Silver for 7 years and started smoking meat a few years ago in a large grill with a firebox. When a co-worker sent me an email this past Thursday night stating he was ready to part ways with his 18.5 WSM, I jumped on it! I'm looking forward to sharing my experiences and learning from you seasoned WSM chefs.

Hamilton, I grew up in Decatur - lived in the Avondale HS district in the '70's-mid 80's.

Mark, I actually live in what should could be called "Acstock," less than 2 miles from the west end of Towne Lake and graduated from Etowah HS.
 
I'm new to the forums too Brian and I actually live close to you it sounds- I'm in Acworth, but practically in Woodstock near Towne Lake. I have a WSM 18.5 as well and sometime later this week will be the proud owner of a Backwoods Fatboy.

If you and Mark are interested, it might be cool to have a meet up at a local que joint to talk shop. What is your fav local spot?
