It actually tops the list of all trucks made in the category of American made....It was something I was pleased to learn. We moved on from a 2009 Ridgeline last December. It was a great vehicle, served us well. I had a look at a new model a couple of years ago, and it was nicely updated from the unit we had. More refined. Also a couple of years ago, I had a surprise when my wife came home with 2,000 pounds of gravel in the back. It was sagging some at the rear, but no complaints or damage. The model we had (and probably the new ones) were made in the US as well.
The list takes into account where the engine and transmission are made as well as the other parts that put the truck together.
Not only was the ridgeline the highest ranked truck it was close to the top of the list for all vehicles made.
The ridgeline is from Lincoln Alabama, I could be wrong but I thought the engine and transmission was also made in this location.
A couple links that are interesting, do you dare to see where your vehicle falls?

American-Made Index 2024: How American is your truck?
Every year, the folks at Cars.com push out the American-Made Index, ranking vehicles on how American they are. The results are always surprising.

The heartbreak for most is models like the Silverado for example......" heartbeat of America " was one I remember fondly.
As far as trucks go it feels like buying American when you come home in your new F150 or Ram..........but it isn't always the case.
