Hi,
We were discussing what to grill for supper this morning when we heard a noise from the deck. Sounded like something fell.
I got up to look and it was a blackbird. Apparently it had knocked itself silly by flying into the wall of the house.
It laid there for a good ten minutes gettin itself together before it could fly away.
Never seen anythin so wierd from a bird.
Remember the Hitchcock movie "The Birds"?
We can't have none of that goin' on in my neighborhood, soooo......
Off to Kroger to make sure that we don't get invaded by CHICKENS!!!

Best chicken I've done in a while, but...
Gotta pay more attention to what I'm buying.
Got 2 12-packs of drumsticks, right?
The first was regular size drumsticks.
The second musta been hens-on-steroids, cause they coulda been mistaken for Turkey legs!
Anyway, they came out fine.
