Genesis temps

I recently bought a 2002 Genesis off CL for $70.
Good condition and everything seems to work fine, however I am only getting temps in the mid 300 range. Burners look to be operating correctly, outside temp is around 35 degrees.
This is my second cook on it and I am really disappointed, I expected to get temps much higher. Am I wrong or should my temps get much higher?

Check your propane tank. It needs to be at least 1/3 full to vaporize the liquid propane at 35 degrees to eneough pressure. Also check the burners to be sure every hole is clear of rust. Then if still no go then using air pressure blow out the manifold from the gas inlet side, opening each valve to first high then low. after that check the brass outlets where the propane comes out of the manifold to be sure they are open. If all that does not fix it replace the regulator.
