Genesis Junior stainless warming rack

After cutting down some stainless grates from a much later two burner Spirit, I got to wondering if any other parts could be easily modified to fit.
I never liked the looks of the original warming rack, so I started looking at dimensions.
Sure enough, I found the following:

I ordered one, and after it arrived, less than an hour with a hacksaw produced what is shown in the pictures.
Couldn't have worked out better... Cheap and stainless too.

What did you have to cut to make it fit?

The horizontal grid is exactly the same size as that which was originally supplied with the grill.
The two “arms” which extend downward to support the grid in the intended application were cut off, leaving four stubs about 1/4”, which support the grid in the Junior box. The remaining stubs were all cut off flush because they interfered with placement in the box.

Nice job on that rack, Hank. Looks great and SS should last no problem. I see the Jr has a "parking space" in the garage. That's nice - out of the weather.

Just to clarify:

Red - cut flush
Blue - cut ~1/4" projection
