Genesis Gold Question?

Does anyone know if the older Genesis porcelain lids will work on a newer Genesis Gold? The lower inside edge of the lid on the Gold is rusted away. Also, will the plastic shelves from the older Genesis grills interchange on a Genesis Gold. The Gold I'm looking at is missing the shelf on the right side by the controls. I have attached the picture of the Genesis Gold I'm looking at. I have other Porcelain lids and plastic shelves just curious if they are interchangeable.

Yes, a x000 series or silver series lids will fit on the cookboxes, as long as they are 3 burner.

Thanks for your response, I went ahead and bought the Genesis Gold for $25 my older Genesis Silver Bakelite side panel also fits.
